About Me
We’re a busy, friendly family of four living in Wimborne Minster. My husband and I are in our early 40s and both run our own businesses. Life is full, and we’re very used to having people work in our home – we genuinely enjoy it.
We have two young sons in pre-prep, a medium-sized dog, and a large garden that keeps us all on our toes. We love spending time outdoors and regularly host gatherings and events at home, so we’re looking for someone who’ll happily get involved and help keep things running smoothly.
My Requirements
We’re looking for someone capable, reliable and cheerful to help manage the day-to-day running of our home. This is a practical, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping a household ticking over beautifully.
Key responsibilities include:
• Laundry and wardrobe care (including ironing and occasional reorganisation)
• General tidying, light cleaning, and household organisation
• Jet washing patios and driveways, leaf blowing, and keeping outdoor areas tidy
• Simple food prep (e.g. chopping veg, prepping snacks or meals)
• Dog management – feeding, letting out, basic care, and occasional walks
• Helping with home events – setting up, clearing away, general hosting support
• Occasional errands or admin-type help around the house
We’d love to find someone who is proactive, down-to-earth, and happy to muck in where needed. You must be dog-friendly and comfortable managing pets as part of the household.
We’re flexible on hours and happy to shape the role around the right person, whether part-time or more involved.
A driver is preferred due to our location.
