About Me

I am a 32 year old qualified primary teacher. I specialise in KS2, however I have also taught Y2 and prepared them for their KS1 SATs. I started private tutoring in 2018 and love how much progress you can see a child make when they are having 1:1 sessions. I teach all primary subjects and Maths up to GCSE Foundation level.

My Experience

I studied Primary Education at York St John University and graduated in May 2014.
In 2014-2018 I worked in an inner city school in Birmingham. I then moved to the South Derbyshire area, which has allowed me to spend time doing some private tutoring, something which I really enjoy doing. I can confidently teach any age/subject in Primary School and can also teach core subjects at Secondary level if required.

My Qualifications

I got an ‘A’ in my Maths, English Literature and English Language GCSEs and have a degree in Primary Education with my QTS (qualified teacher status).
