Lubna
Childminder in Trafford
My Summary
About Me
Hello, I’m Lubna, a friendly and caring childminder based in Old Trafford, Manchester. I offer a welcoming home-from-home environment where children can feel comfortable, build confidence and enjoy learning through play.
I believe every child deserves individual attention and the freedom to explore at their own pace. My aim is to help little ones feel happy and settled, while giving parents peace of mind. Working closely with families is important to me, so I take time to understand each child’s routines, interests and needs.
I currently have spaces available and would love to welcome you for a visit to meet me and see my setting.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2018 and have extensive experience caring for children from babies through to five years old. I understand how children’s needs change as they grow, from providing comfort and familiar routines for babies to encouraging toddlers’ independence and helping older children prepare for school.
I have been inspected twice by Ofsted, receiving “Good” in 2021 and “Expected Standard” at my most recent inspection in October 2026.
Throughout my experience, my focus has been on building trusting relationships with children and their families, helping each child feel valued, supported and ready to learn.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder and have completed first aid and safeguarding training, along with Level 2 training in Special Educational Needs (SEN). This training supports me in providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment, recognising children’s individual needs and helping them learn and develop at their own pace.
