My Requirements

Ages of children: Boy 6y and Girl 4y

Days: Mon-Friday
Hours: Part-time during school terms but full time during half-terms and holidays. We can be flexible with hours but probably 1pm- 6pm term time and 8am-6pm.

Start date: September 2023
Time frame: Permanent role
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays. Days to be agreed (10 days your choice).
Salary: neg depending on experience. Please include salary expectations.
Full drivers license essential.

I'm looking for an experienced nanny with recent references.
Our daughter has an ASD diagnosis and needs support with her social communication. We are using pecs and visual aids in the home.
Someone with SEN experience would be ideal but we are open to working with someone enthusiastic who is willing to learn.

Our daily routine:
From September both children will be in school until around 3pm (they attend different schools).
You'll have sole-charge for school pick-up, after school activities and supporting with homework.
Dinner usually 5pm.
6pm finish.

Responsibilities:
Sole charge care of the children 2pm-6pm.
Children's laundry and changing their bedding
Keeping the children's playroom and bedrooms tidy
Cooking dinner for both children

Boy
Our boy is very energetic but an absolute delight and well-mannered.
He needs a bit of support to improve his use of language. His maths and reading are going well but we would ask for daily practice in reading & writing. His school supply vocab lists, reading books and writing practice sheets.

Girl
Our daughter has a lovely temperament. She loves songs and music and will always engage with you if you are singing.
She enjoys physical contact such as stroking, brushing her hair and cuddles.
She enjoys drawing/painting and loves playing with water or sand.

Both kids are pretty good eaters but it would be great to have someone keen to help them try new things and expand on my cooking repertoire.
I have lots of lovely kids cooking books so someone up for trying new things and helping with meal planning would be great.

Our dog is part of the family so we need someone dog friendly (he is hypoallergenic).
He's used to going on the school run so if you're up for taking him with you when you're out and about that would be great.
