I am 36 years old and a proud Mum to two young boys aged 2 years and 7 months. Becoming a mother myself has strengthened my passion for providing nurturing, attentive and child-led care.
Originally from Wrexham, I spent several years working for professional families in Manchester before moving back home to North Wales to raise my own family. During my nanny career, I travelled internationally with families and supported children within a variety of home, travel and lifestyle settings.
I am based in Wrexham but happy to travel across North Wales, Chester and surrounding areas.
I pride myself on creating a warm, safe and engaging environment where children feel secure, valued and able to thrive.
My Experience
My name is Marie and I have over 20 years experience caring for children aged 0–13 years.
I began my childcare career working within private day nurseries, progressing into senior roles including Room Leader, Supervisor and Deputy Manager positions. These roles allowed me to lead teams of practitioners, support staff development and gain extensive knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and child development.
Alongside nursery management experience, I also worked for several professional families in Manchester as a private nanny, caring for multiple children ranging from newborns to school age.
My nanny roles included:
* Sole charge care
* School and nursery runs
* Planning educational and age-appropriate activities
* Supporting routines and development
* Travelling internationally with families
* Providing overnight and proxy parenting support
* Working closely with parents to provide consistent, high-quality care
I also have experience caring for twins, newborns and children with additional needs.
As a mother to two young boys myself, I bring both professional knowledge and real-life parenting experience into my work every day.
I hold all relevant childcare qualifications, an up-to-date First Aid certificate, food hygiene training, a full clean driving licence and nanny insurance.

Following a recent period of maternity leave and surgery recovery, I am now gradually returning to work and looking forward to supporting families again in a flexible capacity.
I am available Monday–Friday, with some weekend flexibility where needed for emergency or occasional childcare support.
Long-term/permanent positions may also be considered for the right family and hours.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

Marie is an experienced nanny, calm and caring. She was quick to adapt and learn our baby's schedule and needs. On top of that she also helped with keeping the house tidy and clean - which is a big plus in our books. Thank you Marie.
