About Me
I am a committed enthusiastic and motivated nanny with years of experience the majority with the 0-5 age. Sole charge and proxy parenting has always been part of my role. All of my nanny positions have been long term.
I am very fit active person who enjoys swimming every day. I have taught all of the children that I have looked after to swim by the the age of 3 confidentiality without armbands. I also enjoy cooking and walking.
I am punctual and reliable, with strong communication skills and a positive disposition. I strongly believe that a child's early life should be filled with kindness, positivity, consistent engagement and encouragement in order for them to reach their full potential.
I have an in depth knowledge of child development and plan appropriate outings and activities depending on the child's age and stage of development.

My Experience
Nanny for 13 years then I completed my NNEB and worked for the NHS as a community nursery nurse for 25 years working in a health visiting team and private nanny experience prior to that. I decided to leave the NHS in July 2020.
Since leaving the NHS I have worked for the same professional family caring for one child now aged over almost 5 yrs old. I have been with this family since this child was 6 months old. I also do proxy parenting for this family occasionally.
My Qualifications
NNEB, baby massage, weaning, breastfeeding trained, sleep training, toilet training, fully qualified swimming instructor, safeguarding, paediatric first aid, DBS and food hygiene. Experience of working with multiples of children particularly triplets. Behaviour management training. Additional needs experience with children under 7 yrs. Ofsted inspected February 2023. My DBS is on the rolling process and updated yearly.
My Availability
I am available on Monday and Tuesdays before 3 pm. I am available Wednesday Thursday and possibly Friday. In September 2025 my current charge went to full-time school which is why I am currently looking for some additional part-time employment from May 2026 onwards. If your requirements are different to my availability please feel free to contact me as I am very much keeping my options open at present.
I do not work as a childminder but as a children's nanny giving one on one care. The minimum hours I am available is 3 ideally I am currently looking for one or two full days. I choose not to do after school childcare. My hourly rate is £16.00 per hour.
Emergency childcare or babysitting would also be available.
