Hi! I'm Charlotte and I currently have availability to offer babysitting (evening childcare after 6pm). Doodle is my username on here as it doesn't have enough characters for my name!
I am highly organised, reliable and adaptable. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, with experience regularly babysitting for over six years, looking after children between 3-13 years old. I have confidently established an excellent rapport with numerous families.
I'm calm, friendly and empathetic, and it's important to me that you and your child/ren feel comfortable and at ease. I'm happy to read with your child/ren, help with homework, do arts and crafts activities, play games etc. I'm passionate about ensuring that children enjoy learning and are able to develop and explore things that they're interested in.
I have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car (for commuting purposes). I have held DBS checks in the past, most recently a standard DBS check (issued July 2024 for volunteer work in a hospice). I would be happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check at the employer’s cost. *Please note that my car insurance does not cover use for childcare purposes, it only covers me getting to and from your home. However, I will consider roles where insurance/access to a car for short duty errands are supplied by the employer.*

• 6+ years’ experience of regular babysitting for multiple families with children between the ages of 3 and 13 - references available on request.
• Took a break from childcare from 2020-2024 to focus on other commitments. Active again as of summer 2024-present.
• Highly organised, reliable and adaptable.
• Cleaning experience - please note that the fee listed on here is for standard babysitting, please enquire separately if you are looking for household help or cleaning.
My Qualifications
• Full UK driving licence: *please note my insurance does not cover use for childcare purposes, it only covers me getting to and from your home*
• Education: First Class BA (Hons), A Level and GCSE
• Standard DBS check (issued July 2024 for volunteer work in a hospice) - I am very happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check for any childcare roles at the employer's cost
My Availability
• I’m available for regular and occasional babysitting (babysitting is evening childcare between the hours of 6pm and 2am)
• I’m able to be more flexible when given plenty of notice but can often help out on occasions you need childcare last minute!
The guide below reflects my general availability - it can sometimes vary due to my main job and other commitments. I’m very happy to chat and hopefully come to an agreement that works for us both!
GENERAL AVAILABILITY GUIDE (updated August 2025)
Monday-Friday: babysitting from 6pm onwards (sometimes from 6.30pm earliest due to work commitments)
Saturday: occasional availability for evening babysitting if you’re able to provide notice!
Sunday: babysitting from 6pm onwards
Please do get in touch if you have other requirements, as if the right role were to come up, I would consider different positions/hours. I am open to considering temporary housekeeping, mother’s help and nanny roles with the right contract in place - please contact me if you wish to discuss this.
