About Me
I am a 50-year-old Italian woman who loves working with children. After my family experience as a single mother and aunt, I have worked with children on various occasions performing different tasks as a group leader or activity assistant in an Italian primary school. My interests that I like to share with children are music, dance, arts and crafts, baking and other manual activities. I am also able to create costumes and accessories for major school events. I am an active, affective and fun person for children; on the other hand, I am honest, reliable, responsible and punctual for parents. I only moved to London five years ago, so my English is not perfect but I am able to help with homework at primary school level. During my experiences in the UK I have managed and coordinated all activities in the house from cleaning to childcare. I have a full driving licence but unfortunately I have not had any driving experience in the UK.
My Experience
I worked in London as au-pair and then as a nanny with british, mixed and italian families (references can be provide) with children aged from 1 to 5 since 2018. Currently, since I am a full-time student, I work with an agency that offers flexible work as an assistant in nurseries. In Italy I've been a volunteer helping in a primary school with after school activities for almost two years. I also have a 30-year-old son who lives in Italy and I grew him up alone, even working.
My Qualifications
I have an italian high-school degree (diploma) and I'm italian mothertongue. I speak basic spanish and intermediate english
My Availability
I'm available for evening and weekend childcare and/or evening babysitting in my area. I also can stay occasionally overnighht. Looking for long term commitment on a fixed base of 15/20 h/w. During summer holidays I'm available full-time.
