About Me
I am a 26 year old, living in Hulme. I have a politics degree from the University of Birmingham and worked for a children’s charity before leaving to pursue a career in music. I am an extremely responsible and trustworthy individual and I am looking for nanny/babysitting work in the daytime or evenings. I was a nanny for a year and have been babysitting for family and friends for years. While working for a children’s charity I solely organised and ran week-long school holiday workshops for children aged 4-14 aimed at building their confidence. I’ve taught children dance and am a member of the National Youth Theatre as well as being a singer-songwriter. I play piano and guitar and am excellent at entertaining children, while also teaching them valuable skills - especially confidence!
My Experience
I nannied an 8 year old boy for a year in London and am looking for a position in Manchester. I picked him up from school, played with him, helped him with homework as well as doing the odd evening/weekend where I made food, put him to bed or took him out for the day. I also nannied 2 girls, aged 3 and 1, for a shorter period and have years of babysitting experience. I’ve been solely responsible for looking after and teaching groups of children between 4-14 and am confident in ensuring their safety, maintaining their focus and expanding their imaginations!
My Qualifications
I have a First Class degree from the University of Birmingham in International Relations and Political Science. I have 10 A*-C GCSES with A's in English and a B in Maths. I have 4 AS Levels (AABB) and 3 A-Levels (ABB).
My Availability
I am looking for work at anytime. I’m flexible as I’m a self-employed musician.
