About Me
I come from a charity events and fundraising background, and find myself between jobs with a new full time position beginning at the end of July.
I consider myself a reliable and flexible individual and as I worked as a nanny throughout University with many regular families, I am looking for hours with families for the coming weeks and potentially beyond outwith my usual working hours.
My Experience
I come from a large family so I am very used to children of all ages. I am experienced babysitter from this and various other babysitting roles. Multiple of which I remained in for over a year, and in one throughout my whole four years at university.
I have special needs experience after living and working full time in a home for disabled children for a year in South Africa. This opportunity gave me experience as a caregiver, teacher, role model and friend.
Further to this, l spent a couple of summers working at an international summer school where I managed the activities program for visiting students.
My Qualifications
I have a Basic Disclosure Scotland and an enhanced DBS check.
Undertaken various safeguarding courses for my work at a summer school and specific workplace courses too.
I have a 2:1 from Edinburgh University.
My Availability
Flexible around evenings and happy to work ad hoc hours when cover is needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.75 per hour

Mia was the part time nanny for our kids, Eva and Tom for a year. She created an instant and memorable bond with both children and has a warm personality and caring nature. The kids loved being looked after by her and still ask after her. Highly recommended!
