About Me

Hello, my name is Gemma and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder (rated Good) based in Fratton.

I am 34 years old and live with my husband and our three children aged 1, 9 and 14.

As a family we love the outdoors, going on walks, making memories, and finding new adventures. This naturally flows into my childcare setting, where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and enjoy new experiences.

My setting offers a wide range of activities for all age groups. I am passionate about being part of a child’s learning journey, supporting their development, and watching them grow in confidence while having fun.

Food and healthy lifestyles are an important part of my setting.
All meals are freshly cooked from scratch, using recipes from different cultures. I also grow my own vegetables in the garden and involve the children in gardening and cooking activities, helping them learn where food comes from, develop practical life skills, and build healthy eating habits from an early age.

We regularly enjoy outings to Baffins Pond, where the children love feeding the ducks, as well as visits to local parks and community spaces.

£5.20 per hour
All meals included
(Breakfast, lunch, dinner & healthy snacks)

My hours are from 7:30am-5:00

Weekend rates
Babysitting fees are £11ph
