Mothers Help with Special Needs Experience Job in Manchester
About Me
Hello, we live in chorlton (m21) by st werberghs tram and have a lovely 10 year old son. He has hearing aids and glasses and learning difficulties with autism. He is delayed in speech and other areas and generally a happy boy who loves being outside as well as books, building towers and puzzles. He builds up relationships with familiar people, and is extremely rewarding to be with seeing his bits of progress in areas other kids might take for granted.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to meet him after school (he attends Lancasterian) at 3pm to take him out on a Wednesday and Thursday and bring him home for around 5.30pm. We would be interested even if you can offer just one of these days and other days after school. For example trips to park / cycling down the fallowfield loop to get hot chocolate at costa / swimming / climbing / Quarry bank mill / Lymm railway etc. Or go to the local library or the tram into town (he has a tram /bus pass). He has a number of memberships with carer entry included. He loves being outdoors and thrives with 1:1 positive interaction.
We are seeking a regular commitment for after school during term time and/or ad hoc during holidays/weekends. Payment is £15.50 per hour but is negotiable depending. Thank you for reading!
