Nursery practitioner apprentice (2017?to 2023)
Little Elms Nursery

Whilst working at this nursery I was always prepared to help where required. Some of my daily tasks included undertaking particular tasks such as preparing snacks and meals, as well as carrying out daily domestics such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment. As part of my role, I was also required to record any accidents in the accident book and act on it. I had to always be aware of the needs of children and ensure that all safeguarding needs were met. In addition to this, I had to ensure each individual child was collected by someone known to the setting. As part of each child's development, I was required to complete activities suited to their stage of development and needs.

I was a play worker in an after school club in Sydenham, were I had to interact with the children aged 3-11, I had to plan and implement activities which would fit each child’ s age group and prevent others from being isolated from the activity.I was assigned to a child (my key child) at a school were I had to pick the he/her up from school and take them to the after school club.

My Qualifications

I have 4 years of experience working in a nursery with children aged 0-12 and up. I am a mother to a wonderful baby boy who is 4 yrs old.
