Hi my name is Rosita. I’m 27 years old and speak English and French. Coming from a big family, I’ve been around children my whole life. I am a caring, reliable and positive person with over 5 years of experience experience working with children from the ages of 5 months - 10 years old. I am Paediatric First aid trained and have a Level 3 Early Years Educator.
I am passionate about music, dancing, cooking, exploring the world and I really enjoy being as creative as possible with children. I love exploring with them whilst supporting their personal development. I believe children are capable and that it is important to empower them by letting them have a voice in decision making - whilst still setting up reasonable boundaries.
I also have lots of experience with outings and bath time/bedtime - I know lots of nursery rhymes which can be very helpful at times!
My Experience
I’ve been working in childcare since September 2018. First as a classroom assistant, then as an early years educator once I got qualified. Currently, I work as a nanny. Before then, I had experience looking after children in my family and as a nanny while being a uni student. I particularly enjoy exploring with children whilst supporting their personal development. I like using an enquiry based learning and understanding approach. I believe that children are curious and capable of building their own learning through play and exploration.
