About Me

I have worked with children for the last 30 years as a nanny and also in Early Years and Primary School settings. I had some time off to have our two boys who are now 22 years old (recently graduated from Exeter University) and 18 years (at Churston Grammar School) Wow! Where did the time go! I enjoy an active lifestyle doing anything outside including cycling and lots of dog walks. I also love doing craft activities, getting messy and having quiet times reading. I am a qualified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. I am often described as the calm individual in a group who has a caring approach that young children warm to.

My Experience

I have worked with children for the last 30 years as a nanny and also in Early Years and Primary School settings. I have been lucky enough to have nannied for children aged from 1 year to 14 years old and have enjoyed every experience. I have experience working with children who have physical and medical special needs and also challenging behaviour and speech and language delays. I have been on various courses such as Autism, Speech and Language, Play Leader, Equality and Inclusion, Safeguarding and Child Protection.
I have experience working as a housekeeper and enjoy the hussle bussle of family life :)
I've also enjoyed experience working as a Companion Carer Personal Assistant.

My Qualifications

Paediatric First Aid qualified, recently lapsed but happy to renew.
