Mar

A wonderful addition to our family

Mar has been with our family since our daughter was just a few months old, and she's now five. She absolutely adores Mar, and what's most special is that Mar adores her too - they have such a lovely relationship, which makes leaving our daughter in her care effortless. Mar has the kindest, most caring and nurturing approach to childcare and treats both our daughter and our home as though they are her own. I can't recommend Mar enough.

Fantastic

Mar has worked for us since 2023 and is fully hands on, hard working, caring, honest, reliable and is happy to do any extra house work jobs.
She’s very easy to get on with and is great at communication.
She’s been an invaluable help in our home.
She’s very patient and caring with the children and always plans fun things to do with them which is great for keeping them entertained. Thank you Mar .

Highly recommended

Mar has been helping with childcare for our 1 year old for nearly a year now. She has been a really great fit for our family - kind, trustworthy and very reliable. Our son is always very happy to see her. She does lots of activities with him and keeps him really engaged with different things every week and lots of time outside when the weather allows. We would not hesitate to recommend Mar to anyone who is looking for help with childcare.

The absolute best!

Mar has worked for us as a childminder for the past six years. She first started working for us when my eldest was 15 months old and has continued to look after our subsequent children; the three of them are now aged 7 5 and 3. Mar has looked after them during regular evenings for the past six years, and in addition looked after our youngest every Wednesday for a year when she was 2.

My biggest recommendation for Mar has to be that my children all love her! Mar has taken the time to get to know each of them individually and always comes prepared with activities and books which she knows they will enjoy. Our children definitely see a day or evening with Mar as a treat! She is always incredibly patient and caring and fun.

Mar has always been extremely reliable and punctual and has never once in six years been late or cancelled without plenty of notice. She is also very flexible as far as her working schedule allows and will always do her best to accommodate our needs. She always asks if there are any other household tasks she can help with while she is with the kids and is willing to help out any way she can. I trust her completely with my family.

She has occasionally worked for several other close family friends of ours and I know all of them would say the same. I would highly recommend Mar as a childminder to any family for her dedication, care and reliability as a childminder.

Excellent childcare provider

Mar worked with our family over the month of August and was such a wonderful presence in our home. She is thoughtful, warm, kind, punctual and a great listener. She came prepared with books and activities for the children and was always looking for somewhere entertaining to take them whatever the weather. Mar is also an excellent cook and anyone would be lucky to have Mar’s support in their home. I very much hope to work with her in the future again as she is a wonderful nanny who goes above and beyond.
