About Me

Hiya, I'm Kira. I live in Hemsworth,a little village near Pontefract ,West Yorkshire. I am married and I have a daughter called Olivia. I am a non-smoker and I have a full clean driving licence.

I am inspired to help young children to learn and develop through having hands on experiences to be creative, get messy, be physical and develop in all 7 aspects of their learning.I pride myself in being fun and creative with the children. I love to work with children and believe they should be happy and cared for to a high standard. Just seeing a child smile melts my heart!

I am a honest,reliable,kind,calm and trustworthy person who is looking for a family who is need extra help with the children in any ways. If you need an helping hand around the house, I'm willing to help with cooking, cleaning, ironing and even walking the dog.

I have BTEC National Diploma in Early Years which I passed on distinction at Wakefield College in 2004.

After college I have done various roles. I worked in a Private Day Nursery as a Nursery Supervisor. I gained experience with birth to six years,babysitting,school pick ups, nannying and working in an after school club.

I am currently working in a Primary School as a Early Years Teaching Assistant. I absolutely love my job at school but feel I need a change in my career path so therefore I'm looking for a nannying/mother's helper job to fit around my daughter. Working in this role would reflect my true ability and it’s something I’ve always wanted to further my career in.


I enjoy spending valuable time with my family,cooking,horse riding and shopping.
