Hello, we are a family with two girls age 5 and 8. Our girls like playing imaginative play type games, lego, listening to stories and arts and crafts, exploring outside, going out on bikes, swimming, playing in parks. The oldest one is into dragons and fairies.
My Requirements
We are looking for a maths tutor for our 8 year old (year 3 going into year 4). We'd like to start in the summer holidays to help us keep on top of practicing maths over the summer holidays so that she goes confidently into year 4, and hopefully continue into year 4. She is just about where the teacher wants her to be at maths but we're told she needs a little extra help to keep up. We are practicing timetables and number bonds at home every day but we get met with a lot of resistance. We'd like someone to make maths fun for her and build confidence.
