About Me
Hi my names Kelly sharpe and I'm a ofsted registered childminder with a good childcare provider grade.
My ofsted certificate and all other relivant paperwork is displayed in my home.
I'm an experienced mother of 3 children, I've 2 boys aged 25 and 17 and a little girl aged 14.
my eldest is in the armed forcesand has his own house and both younger children are in full time education.
I live in a large 4 bed house in lipson very close to freedom fields and st Jude's.
I live in close proximity to four excellent parks and most days depending on the weather we visit one of these. Other activities outside of the home include playgroups in st Judes, Aquarium, cinema, museum, library and West Hoe.
When in the home I offer a wide variety of fun activities including a wonderful playroom for arts and crafts, messy play and dressing up and I also have a large range of toys suitable for both girls and boys from birth upwards.
I also have play dates each week with other local childminders.
I have a secure garden with many outdoor toys such as sand pit, water table and slide .
When catering for babies and preschool children I have all the necessary equipment needed including cots, high chairs, baby walker and pushchairs.
I personally only have minimal numbers of children as I feel it's safer and I'm then able to plan suitable age appropriate activities and go out safely, I don't as a rule have older children and have so far in my childminding career specialised in under 3's.
I currently don’t offer a before and after school drop off or pick up service.
My Experience
I am and experienced mother of both boys and girls, In the past i have worked voluntary as a classroom assistant in two local primary school and also worked as a private nanny for two years shortly after leaving school.
I have now been a qualified childminder for 12 years.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include
* Ofsted registered
* CRB checked
* Paediatric first aid trained
* Safeguarding awareness level 2
My Availability
I'm available monday- friday 7.30 - 5 pm with some flexibilty.
Bank holidays and weekends upon request
( I currently have no spaces however next one’s available are September 2023)
I'm also able to do over night care upon request again at a higher rate.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I charge £5 per hour and my working hours are 7am-5.30 if any earlier or later and not contracted hours then it's a higher rate, weekends, bankholidays and over night are also at a higher rate.
Snacks and drinks thoughout the day are included but you will need to provide a packed lunch ( this is due to food allergies and food wastage )
I currently have no spaces available.
