About Me

I’m experienced in caring for children, with a passion for allowing young minds to grow. I enjoy swimming, horse riding, and physical exercise - especially in the outdoors. I am available evenings and weekends, and enjoy looking after young children. I am fully bilingual, French and English, I grew up in Switzerland with English parents.

My Experience

I have 8 years of childcare experience. Over this time I have done various roles from teaching assistant, respite carer after school pick ups and nursery practitioner. In this time I specialised in Special Educational Needs care with 7 of those 8 years being with children with SEND.

My Qualifications

I have 6 GCSEs, 3 AS levels, 1 A level a level 3 in child psychology and a level 3 support teaching and learning. I am also studying a child development degree though the open university.

My Availability

I am available, for day time help Monday to friday and some days for after-school pick ups. With the possibility for some ad-hoc weekends and late evenings.

Life Saver

Laura has been working for us since September and we are so happy we found her! She really helps out around the house and with out pets and our little girl adores her! Highly recommend, don’t know what we’d do without her.
