About Me

Hi, my name is Lesley and I'm an Ofsted registered Nanny. I'm married with three grown up children.
I was an Ofsted registered Childminder for 11 years but for the last 8 years I've been nannying as I feel it's more beneficial for children to be cared for in their own home.

My Experience

I have been a Nanny for 8 years and was a childminder for 11 years. In 2009 I completed my NVQ 3 in childcare, learning and development. Having been a Mum for 30+, years and a Grandma for 4 years, I have plenty of experience with children, from new born to teenagers!

Before I became a childminder I worked in a day nursery with children aged 3 to 5. I also volunteered at my children’s nursery school.
I am very artistic and love to do crafty things with the children.

I am a first aider and have done the Safeguarding Children training amongst many other courses. I regularly attend other training courses to keep up to date with the latest legislation's etc.

My Qualifications

I am NVQ level 3 qualified in Child Care, Learning & Development.

I have a First Aid certificate.

I continue to attend many courses, workshops and meetings in order to keep up-to-date with the latest legislation's and so developing our CPD (continuous personal development).
