About Me
Hiya, I'm Amy I'm 21 and I'm currently studying for my NVQ level 2 in childcare with Puffins & will continue on to my Level 3. I absolutely adore looking after children and after 3 years in healthcare decided I wanted a career change in something I am very passionate about. I wish to do babysitting to gain further experience and references but mainly it is something I love! Looking for evening & weekend work mainly as I work Monday to Thursday during the day. I am happy to look after your bundles of joy on a one-off basis or equally as happy to on a regular basis. Please feel free to contact me with any queries or question & I will reply ASAP.
I am available after 6pm Monday- Thursday evenings, All day on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday as well as overnight. I am happy to take your child out and about and use public transport for days out, to go to the park, on walks and activities to stimulate the child's development. I am able to cook, undertake light housework duties and take care of pets. Any needs you have I am more than happy to meet but my main priority is the child health, safety & wellbeing.
My Experience
From a young age, I have babysat for family & friends & helped to look after my younger brother & sister. I have looked after my Nephew from the age of 1 on a regular basis as well as helping out with friends children who are newborn and under 2. I currently work with ages 0-5 at my job so have a vast knowledge. I love working with babies and toddlers and feel competent on all levels. Previously to this, I worked in healthcare for 3 years in a range of roles for the NHS & privately. I have worked in a hospital. in the community & in private settings with the elderly, learning disability & mental health. I have a wide vast knowledge in healthcare & have been able to transfer this over to my childcare. I am first aid trained & due to undertake my pediatric first aid training in February. I also have a rolling DBS. References can be provided if required.
