Amazing nanny

We were looking for a temporary nanny for 8 weeks so I could take on a short contract at work when my son was 7 months old. I was worried about leaving him because he is breastfed and very attached to me, but he took to her straight away. They bonded very quickly and whenever she arrived in the morning he would kick his legs in excitement and reach out for her. I immediately felt comfortable leaving him with her. Kanjana would take him for walks, to the park and to rhyme time at the library etc. Kanjana was also great with my elder son (4.5) who was at nursery, and a couple of times picked him up for me and made him dinner.

My son was just at the beginning of weaning and Kanjana prepared and made nutritious food for him and left in the fridge for the week, which was so helpful for us. She also knew exactly what to give him and when and knew how to safely give him finger foods.

My hours were irregular and she fitted into our family so well and was always happy to begin earlier/later or stay later, and the flexibility was so helpful to us. I will be so sad that we can't keep Kanjana on with us now I have finished work as she felt like a member of our family.

Experienced, Kind, and All Around Wonderful

Kanjana has been babysitting our 1-year-old and she is exceptional! She shows up on time, has a full day of adventure, is very communicative, and our little one always has an amazing time with her. We highly recommend her services!

Wonderful

We were so lucky to find Kanjana. She watched our 11-month old son Calvin for 3 days when I was traveling in London for work in January 2023. Kanjana was professional, communicative, and prompt; she brought toys for our son to play with because we were in a hotel and had limited toys for him. Calvin warmed to Kanjana very quickly, and enjoyed spending time playing with her. Kanjana even gave him a few toys to take back to the states with us! I really hope we get the opportunity to work with her again.

The Perfect Nanny!

We highly recommend Kanjana. She has worked for us full-time for approximately one year, and we are sadly losing her only because of our relocation to the United States. She was nanny and best friend to our son since he was just three months old and truly became a member of our family.

When we first met Kanjana we were drawn immediately to her kindness, her energy, and her obvious love of children. From her first day to her last, we always had confidence knowing she truly cares about our son and his development. We felt all the stress of new parents, and Kanjana immediately brought a calming influence to our household. She is extremely patient and attentive, focusing fully on him when they are together. Kanjana always respected our preferences yet taught us so much about how to nurture his development and create a healthy routine. With Kanjana's help, our son quickly developed healthy sleep habits and began sleeping through the night. She also helped with the weaning process and introduced new nutritious foods at the right pace. Kanjana routinely suggested local play and music groups that were age-appropriate for our son (pre-covid), always asking permission ahead of time and sharing photos of their adventures throughout the day. She has been his coach and cheerleader through all of the major milestones of his first year, including eating solid foods, sitting up, crawling, walking and talking.

Kanjana is very dependable. She was always on time and extremely flexible with scheduling if we had to stay late at work unexpectedly. She was happy to cover some nights and weekends when we needed the help.

Kanjana exceeded our expectations in every way, and it will be difficult to find someone who will care for our son and for us as much as she has. We hate to say goodbye.
