Above and Beyond Expectations!

My son started at Little Rainbows aged 16 months and continued through to the summer before he started school (he's a September baby so was very nearly 5 years old). Claire provides outstanding provision for the children in her care both physically and emotionally and maintains excellent communication with parents to ensure the changing needs of your child are continually met. Claire has created a setting that is wonderfully calm, organised and stimulating across multiple age groups. My son settled in very quickly at Little Rainbows which is testament to the safe and nurturing environment Claire provides.

The activities available to children at Little Rainbows are child-centred, imaginative and incredibly engaging. I know Claire works really hard planning her sessions to ensure the children get as much out of the learning topics as possible - all through the wonder of play. The cabin is an utterly fabulous resource and space for the children and creates a unique environment within a childminding settling - for me, it sets Little Rainbows apart. At the end of each day, my son was always happily exhausted, testament to the wonderful day he'd had.

For parents of children with allergies, you can be confident your child is in excellent care. My son was diagnosed aged 3 with multiple nut allergies. Upon diagnosis, Claire took immediate action to create a thorough care plan for my son and switched the setting to become 'nut-free' in readiness for his return post. Throughout she has been scrupulous in checking labels to ensure my son was completely safe as well as taking the initiative to complete additional training in administering epi-pens.

Finally, and an area close to my heart - food (I have a background in Nutrition). You will be hard pushed to find a childminder/nursery who will provide as balanced and nutritious a menu as Claire does. It is excellent! My son was always particularly fond of her cooking sessions; smoothies, wholesome soups, fruit crumbles, sweet and savoury muffins….Just fabulous!

I would actively encourage anyone seeking childcare in the Brentwood area to strongly consider Little Rainbows - you can be confident your child will have a wonderful experience.
