About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have been registered since November 2005. I live with my husband Stephen and our daughter Eva is at Uni. We have a 8 year old cockerpoo called Harry, he has a great temperament and has been a big hit with the children, he has his bedroom under the stairs so that he has his own space away from the children. Our home is clean comfortable and welcoming. I promote respect for each other and encourage independence in the children's everyday tasks such and getting ready, being able to wash their own hands, good social skills and provide plenty of learning through play opportunities. I have a good working relationship with the other local childminders and often meet up with them so that the children have the opportunity to play with other children of a similar age. We go on outings to various places such as the park, the library, soft play, stay and play sessions etc. I really enjoy working with children and their families and making a difference in a child's life.
My Experience
I am accredited to provide 30 hours of government funded early years education for 3 year olds and have a level 3 NVQ in children's care, learning & development. I keep up to date with childcare legislation and training. I have cared for a range of different aged children from 3 months to 10 years and have worked with many different families and children over the years and feel that I have an understanding of families needs for their childcare and what makes their children happy and thrive in my setting.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in Children's care, Learning and development. Paediatric first aid. Safeguarding children. Level 2 Food hygiene. Early years outcomes. Supporting Children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. Plus many more certificates in childcare training.
My Availability
My working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30pm and Friday 7:30 to 4:30pm during term time only.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge £6 per hour. Food is a separate charge of £1.50 per day for early years children and 50p for the school aged children's snacks. The children are typically offered a selectin of fruit (apples, grapes, strawberries, satsuma, banana) each day, usually for morning & afternoon snacks. Lunch can range from sandwiches, homemade meals such as pasta, roast dinner. Shop bought foods such as pizza, chicken goujons, fish fingers, potato waffles, rice etc

My little boy has been going to Leanne’s since he was 9 months old up until he starts pre school. He has loved every minute! They do such a variety of activities throughout the week, which Leanne manages to combine with lots of learning. I would highly recommend Leanne & her childcare setting.

Leanne is absolutely the best! My little girl absolutely loves her and enjoys being with her. Her communication is brilliant and is always happy to help. I cannot honestly express how great Leanne is and how sad I am for my daughter to be starting nursery and leaving Leanne. Anyone that sends their child/children to Leanne will not regret it ☺️

I couldn't be happier with the care Leanne provides for my daughter. She is really happy and settled there. Leanne has made such a welcoming and nurturing setting, with a great balance of fun and learning. I'm always amazed at all the new things my daughter has learnt and developed. We feel very lucky to have her and would recommend her to any other parents looking for a childminder in the area 😊.

I had my son with Leanne for two years she is amazing my little boy loved to go to her place he was happy and couldn’t wait for the next day communication with her it was always excellent

My son Was extremely happy in Leanne’s setting and looked forward to attending everyday.
We as parents felt completely re assured by Leanne & Anne whilst our son was in their care and they would go above and beyond to make sure he settled in well and was happy.
After attending with Leanne for a couple of weeks we noticed a positive difference in our sons behaviour.
He enjoyed all the learning, activity’s, and many days out at local play groups ect.
I would highly recommend Leanne’s setting to any other parents looking for childcare in the area.
