About Me
Hello, my name is Sherrine Anson.
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2007 and have successfully owned and managed Sticky Fingers Daycare since 2010.
I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce and have dedicated over 20 years to caring for and supporting children's learning and development.
Sticky Fingers Daycare is a truly family-run setting. I work alongside my eldest daughter, who is both a qualified teacher and an Ofsted Registered Childminder, as well as my teenage twin daughters, who are Ofsted-registered assistants. Together, we provide a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where every child is valued, encouraged and supported to reach their full potential.
One of the things I am most proud of is the lasting relationships we build with families. Many parents return to us with younger siblings, and we are now caring for the children of families whose older children attended Sticky Fingers Daycare many years ago. This trust and loyalty means the world to us.
Our setting offers an exceptional indoor and outdoor learning environment with a wide range of resources designed to inspire children to learn, explore and grow. We are particularly recognised for our expertise in potty training and preparing children for a smooth and confident transition to school.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of professional childcare experience in a variety of settings.
My career began as a private nanny in Chelsea, where I worked with one family of two children one whom had downs syndrome; for 10 years, supporting every aspect of the children's care and development.
I then worked as a Classroom Assistant in a primary school in Dulwich for five years, gaining valuable experience supporting children's education and development within a school environment.
I have also worked as a private nanny for high-profile families, including travelling with them during school holidays.
Since becoming an Ofsted Registered Childminder in 2007, I have successfully built Sticky Fingers Daycare into a trusted childcare setting with an excellent reputation. Families know us for our welcoming atmosphere, outstanding provision, strong partnerships with parents and our commitment to helping every child thrive.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Child Day Care, Special Needs Care, SafeGuarding Children for Childminders, Supporting Children Behavioural Learning, Approach to Early Mathematics, FCM, SENCo & Early Help Assessments.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Childminding from £12.00 per hour
I charge £12 per hour for childminding during the day, £15 per hour after 7pm. My opening hours are from 6am to 6am.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Crown Lane Primary School
