About Me

I’m a caring, reliable, and patient person who genuinely enjoys supporting children as they learn, grow, and gain confidence. I have experience working in school settings as well as providing childcare for family members and family friends, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s different needs, personalities, and routines. Alongside my practical experience, I studied psychology at university and completed a child-focused module, which gave me a foundational understanding of child development, behaviour, and emotional needs.

Through my experience in schools, I have supported children both in and out of the classroom, helping with learning activities, emotional regulation, and building positive relationships. I particularly enjoy helping children feel safe, understood, and encouraged, especially those who may need a little extra support with confidence, emotions, or transitions during the day.

Alongside this, I have regularly babysat for family and friends, caring for children of different ages. This has included preparing meals, supporting bedtime routines, playing games, helping with homework, and creating a calm and fun environment where children feel comfortable. I am attentive, responsible, and always mindful of children’s safety and wellbeing.

I am naturally warm, observant, and adaptable, and I take time to understand each child as an individual. I value open communication with parents and always aim to provide care that is respectful, nurturing, and consistent. I find working with children incredibly rewarding and take pride in being someone they can trust and feel relaxed around.
