My Experience

I’ve gained experience caring for children of various ages, from babies to school-aged kids, including children with different abilities and needs. As a mum to a 4-year-old myself, I understand the patience, flexibility, and creativity that go into looking after little ones.
Alongside caring for my own child, I’ve babysat for friends and families over the years, helping with everything from bedtime routines and mealtimes to fun activities and homework support. My background as a self-employed cleaner has also taught me to be organised, reliable, and attentive to detail — skills that carry over into my childcare.
I’m confident in keeping children entertained in a safe, supportive environment, whether that’s reading stories, playing games, doing crafts, or spending time outdoors.

My Qualifications

Although I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, I bring plenty of hands-on experience and practical skills to my work with children. I have GCSEs and A-Levels, and I previously taught arts and crafts workshops, including sewing and acrylic pour painting.
These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, organisation, and creative skills — all of which I use when caring for children. I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities that encourage imagination and creativity.
I also hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car, giving me flexibility with travel and allowing me to get to and from bookings easily. References are available on request.

My Availability

My son goes to his dad’s every other weekend, so on those weekends I’m available from 7:00pm on Friday through to 4:00pm on Sunday. During that time, I’m completely flexible and can offer both daytime and evening care.
On weeknights, I’m available from 6:30pm onwards, and on the weekends when I have my son, I can offer babysitting at any time. For these times, families would need to be comfortable with my 4-year-old joining me — he’s a lovely, easygoing little boy who enjoys meeting new children and plays well with others.
I’m also happy to discuss one-off bookings or slightly different hours if needed, as my self-employed work schedule gives me a bit of flexibility.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

As a 27-year-old childcare provider with hands-on experience caring for children of different ages, I offer reliable, friendly, and flexible childcare at a fair rate. My current rate is £12–£15 per hour, depending on the number of children and specific family needs. I’m in the process of obtaining my DBS check and completing first aid training to ensure the highest standard of care and safety. I aim to provide nurturing and trustworthy childcare, and I’m happy to discuss your requirements to find a suitable arrangement for your family.
