About Me
I'm Amy, an Ofsted registered childminder, a mum of six. I started childminding 19 years ago when my eldest son was 3months old. I have worked within nursery settings and worked in various managerial positions throughout my life as well as running my own hobby business creating 3D casts of hands and feet. I enjoy arts & crafts, nature walks, swimming, growing fruit and veg & cooking, all of which I encourage the children to participate with.
l offer a safe & stimulating, home from home environment where children can play, learn & develop. I have a range of both indoor & outdoor toys & resources for the children to use. We also have six friendly pet Ducks, a fish, a parrot and a lovely friendly Labrador.
I like to work closely with parents, providing daily feedback, to ensure the child's needs are being met.
I enjoy taking the children out to various play centres, toddler groups, woodlands, parks & other local places of interest.
My Experience
I have a great deal of experience through raising my own children, the children I have looked after, and working within a nursery setting.
I have looked after children from age 3 months to teenagers.
I continue to take various courses to keep my training up to date & to further develop my skills.

2-3 years olds = £7ph

After my little boy struggled to settle in nursery I found Amy and she has been everything I could have wished for and more. The most kind caring and passionate lady. Right from day one my little boy has adored her, he's like a different boy, so happy and content. I cannot thank her enough for all her support ad love for my little boy. I can now go to work without ever having to worry, she is a complete blessing. The icing on the cake is seeing all the photos of what they are getting up to during each day.

We couldn't be happier to have Amy looking after our son. She is very caring and genuinely invested in the children she looks after, and it's clear how much effort she puts into keeping them busy with lots of different activities and days out. We've also seen a real difference in our son's development since being with her, which has been great to see. He is always happy to see Amy and clearly enjoys his time there. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great childminder.

Amy is a lovely, kind and amazing childminder. She really cares for the children and has so much patience and is so attentive with them. My little girl absolutely adores her and gets upset when she isn’t with her for the day. She runs up to her and gives her a big cuddle. Highly recommend

Amy has looked after my daughter since before her first birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a more caring, kind and nurturing childminder.
From the very beginning, Amy has provided a safe, happy and loving environment where my daughter has thrived. Every day when I collect her, she’s smiling, happy and clearly has had a wonderful day, which gives me so much reassurance as a parent.
Amy’s home is full of fun, with plenty of toys, activities and even animals for the children to enjoy. My daughter loves spending time there and has built lovely friendships with the other children Amy cares for. I also love receiving the photos, it’s so special to see all the adventures they’re having together.
The progress my daughter has made since being with Amy has been incredible. Amy has been there to witness so many important milestones, including her first steps and watching her speech develop, and she’s played such an important role in encouraging and supporting that growth. My daughter is constantly learning new things, becoming more confident, and trying new foods.
Knowing my daughter is somewhere she feels safe, loved and excited to go each day is priceless. Amy truly treats the children as if they were her own, and I feel incredibly lucky that she’s been such a big part of my daughter’s early years. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Finding Amy and leaving nursery was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Amy has become a friend and feels like family. Her care goes above and beyond and my little one loves her days with Amy. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

We have been incredibly grateful for Amy and the care she provides for our daughter. From the very first day, it was clear that Amy genuinely cares for the children in her care. She has created a warm, welcoming environment that allows our daughter to feel safe, loved, and supported. Amy goes above and beyond to provide engaging activities, and we can see how much our daughter has learned and grown under her care. Amy looked after my daughter from when she was 9 months old. Amy was great with her and took her to baby groups, park & farm trips and did loads of creative crafts too. My daughter loved being with Amy and the other children that Amy cared for. Amy also sent pictures and details of what they had been up to on special days out

I first met Amy at a mums & tots group nearly 10 years ago when we both had little ones of a similar age. When it was time for me to return to work, I didn't think twice about contacting Amy.
Different weeks were different shifts & Amy was fantastic with flexibility. My son loved being with her, she's so enthusiastic in everything she does, she was so creative with him, always putting on great activities to do throughout the day's they had together, from mud kitchens, decorating cakes, going to the parks, play centres & tots groups but my son's favourite was playing football in Amy's huge garden! Everyday was different & my son being with Amy, never made me have that guilty feeling of returning to work, because he loved being in her company. Amy is as my title states! Enthusiastic, wonderful caring childminder.
I would highly recommend Amy. She's fantastic. 10/10.

I highly recommend Amy. She is a warm, caring lady and an excellent childminder. It's always a fun and safe environment for the children. Amy creates a beautiful relationship with the kids, it's lovely to see! Cliff lane drop off and pick up too which is a win-win.

I have wonderful experience with Amy. She has cared for my 9-year-old daughter on numerous occasions, and I couldn't be happier with the level of care and attention she provides. Her experience shines through in everything she does, and she always has a fantastic array of engaging activities and toys for the kids. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nurturing and fun environment for their children!
