My Experience

I have had 18 years of experience working in a variety of early years settings/schools and have developed a passion for playful pedagogies. I am skilled at building relationships with children as well as their parents and families. I have also been a nursery manager and lead practitioner for attainment!

During my time working in Early Education I feel that I have become particularly skilled in supporting play, learning opportunities and experiences. As an early years professional I have strived to provide and develop learning environments which are safe, stimulating, and enriched with opportunities for creative play I like to incorporate what I've learned from the different environments I have worked in into my current practice. From my time in a Waldorf school environment and Montessori establishments.

I have experience working with families with public-facing careers. This has given me an excellent understanding of the importance of privacy, discretion, confidentiality and professional boundaries within a family home.

I understand that working with these families can require a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness. Family schedules can change at short notice due to professional commitments, travel, events or unforeseen circumstances and I am comfortable adapting quickly and calmly while maintaining consistency and security for the children.

I am experienced in working within busy and often changing family environments and understand the importance of being proactive, reliable and discreet, while anticipating the needs of both the children and their parents.

I am nurturing, fun and love being around children!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

£20 per hour. Additional fee for overnight stays
