About Me
My name is Trudie (or Dee Dee as little ones call me ) , I've been childminding since 2006 now and it's a role I love doing , I live with my partner Mark we both have up to date DBS checks & First Aid Certificates, which are kept up to date.
I offer a safe and homely environment for children to learn & progress as well as having lots of fun too we do arts & crafts, have a great role play area and a small and very secure garden which allows us to have fun & explore outdoors. I complete EYFS for every child within Early Years age group , this allows myself and parents to follow each child’s individual development in all areas of learning. I care for children from birth to 11 years old and this also allows children to develop their social skills by making new friends of all ages. I work in partnership with with all my parents and carers and myself have made new friends from both past & present families.
My home is a non smoking home too !
I offer funded places for 2,3& 4 year olds for both 15 & 30 hours.
My Experience
I've cared for lots of children aged between 0- and 12 years old , I hold Paediatric First Aid certificate , have completed the followings courses Safeguarding children , Basic awareness in Child protection , Food Hygiene , Health & Saftey. I have completed and passed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in childcare, and also have a Btec 1st Diploma in Health& Social Care , I have just become SENCO trained.
At my last inspection by Ofsted and received a Good grade .
I also offer 2,3&4 year old funding , I have funded places available for both 15 & 30 hours.

My Availability
I now have vacancies for funded places for both 15 & 30 hours and non funded places to !!!!
I am avaliable Monday - Thursday 6am -6pm & Friday 6am- 4pm
if you require hours before or after these time please ask as im very flexible and will assist you in any way i can ,parents can also arrange hours on weekly basis so no set contract as well as term only contracts if required ! I also offer (if I’m available ) a pick up & drop off service from both home and school should you need it.
I am also a provider of the 2,3&4year old funding, and have places available for the upcoming term.

We had trudy as a minder for our son a year or so ago and my son loved the time he spent there. Always gad possitive things to say and trudy was very friendly and easy to get on with all the time. If me and my partner had another child this is the place we would like them to go to aswell and i always recommend trudy to friends and family in the area.
