About Me
I am Evie Hendrix an Accredtied OFSTED Registered Childminder and have been graded ‘OUTSTANDING' 3 times.
I have lived in Launceston since 1994
I was originally registered with Hertfordshire County Council who were responsible for my police checks. This information was shared with Cornwall County Council when I moved here.
OFSTED do not require me to obtain a dbs.
I did obtain one with Surrey County Council for a special guardianship, but that was separate to childminding.
I have 3 children, and 3 step-children, who have all now left home' and now have 5 grandchildren.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 28 years and became an Accredited childminder and Nursery Education provider in July 2008
I then became a member of the Cornwall Community Childminding Network and have extensive experience with children who have additional needs.
I also help run the charity ’LanSEN Together’ ~ Providing services and support to SEND families.
My Qualifications
Introductory Pre-school Playgroups Association (PPA)
TAYTEC "Looking after children" - Grade 1
CACHE Level 3 certificate in childminding practice (equivalent to NVQ3)
NSPCC certificate in Child Protection Awareness

I am currently closed to under 8’s ~ awaiting essential repairs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£4:50 per hour - standard contract
£5.50 per hour - term-time only contract
£7.50 per hour - unsociable hours (before 8am/after 6pm/weekends/bank holidays)
£15:00 per hour SEND one-to-one
