About Me
I’m empathic and compassionate with a focus on building strong, trusting relationships through attunement and connection. I love sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and creative activities — always following each child’s lead. I have extensive experience supporting children with complex health, physical and learning needs as well as developmental and attention differences. I'm also a big animal lover who's comfortable around pets of all shapes and sizes.
My Experience
Extensive experience supporting children and young people from birth onwards, including those with complex additional needs. I have worked across a wide variety of settings, particularly in the community, as well as in education and residential environments. I also provide one-to-one mentoring online with autistic young people. Recently completed a BSL beginners course and looking for opportunities to further develop these skills.
My Qualifications
Up to date DBS and have had specialist training for children with epilepsy, NG and PEG feeding, medication, moving and handling requirements etc. Qualifications in health and social care and BSc first class in psychology with developmental disorders.
My Availability
Looking to provide some help around my part time job as an autism mentor, which is mainly evenings at present.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
Rate of pay will depend on times, child’s needs and requirements of the session. Basic rate £16 but will be negotiated on a child by child basis.
