About Me
Hi, my name is Sarah, I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2003 and thoroughly enjoy my job, I am based on the outskirts of Sutton-In-Ashfield, close to the A38, I have two wonderful children aged 15 and 19, as a childminder I have two level 3 qualifications, first aid trained, CRB checked and very reliable
What will my child be doing?
Your child will get lots of exciting opportunities to play and learn in a loving, caring environment, he/she will have the opportunity for indoor and outdoor play on a daily basis, he/she will have their own daily diary where your child’s daily routine will be recorded, you will be able to take this home and share it together and put in your own comments, you will also have three reports a year to take home and read about your child's development and progress.
Your child/children will be offered healthy drinks, meals and snacks throughout the day.
We visit weekly mother and toddler groups, library, soft play areas, park and sensory rooms, and we have themed weeks too where your child will be involved in bouncy castle days, teddy bear picnics, world book week, Easter, Christmas etc
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2003 and have lots of experience with children of all ages, Having two wonderful children of my own is the best experience anyone can have, and i have done lots of babysitting jobs before childminding and worked in summer kids clubs in my local leisure centre.
I have cared for children as young as just 3 months old including twins so lots of experience with newborns.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in Early years care and eduacation
ICP, DCP and ECP in childminding
DBS checked, First aid, food and hygiene and safeguarding.
My Availability
I care for children up to full time school age 0-5 years.
Spaces will be available from August/September 2026
My working hours are 7.30am-5pm
