About Me
I am Ofsted registered childminder with over 18 years experience in childcare. I live with my husband and three children 12,14 a d 16. We also have a lovely rabbit called Biscuit, he is very much loved by childminding children.
I have well equipped, dedicated playroom and a nice garden with Wendy house, mud kitchen and vegetable patch. I provide a stimulating environment, so children can develop and achieve their full potential, while respecting their needs and interests.
Every day children take part in activities that promote all areas of learning across the EYFS. This include gardening, cooking, craft, forest school, roll play, construction play, reading stories, dancing and lots more, whilst all the time encouraging independence.
I regularly take children to local wood, where I organise fun, nature-related activities. I believe outdoor environment provides lots of rich learning experiences, where children's minds flourish.
I regularly take children on trips out including play groups, libraries, story time, garden centres.
Good partnership with parents and regular feedback is very important to me.
I provide healthy home cooked meals.
My Experience
Before having children I worked in a Montessori nursery for three years. Here I had a chance to work in a baby room, but also the 2-3 years old children.
After my maternity leave I joined a local Hertfordshire nursery which also had an amazing forest school. During this time I started part time childminding business, which eventually became my main job.

My Availability
I am open from 7.30 until 6.00 Monday to Thursday.
I offer drop off and pick up from St Helen's school and also Beech hide nursery.
