About Me
One vacancy Monday-Thursday, and one vacancy Tuesdays & Wednesdays only. From October 2023
I am Ofsted registered with a Good grade, and have been childminding since 1993. I have three children of my own, one lives with me full time and one part time. I offer a caring and happy environment, with the aim to being a home from home for all children in my care. We live in a terraced property with a secure garden and play park very near by. I have a wide range of toys and equipment, both inside and outside, & we attend local toddler groups, as well as visiting parks, garden centers, feeding the ducks, painting, cooking etc. I have a 7 seater car, and can drop off and collect from schools (primarily Hawkedon) and preschools in the local area, depending on times and the needs of other children already in my care. Prospective parents are welcome to speak to any current families if they have any queries.
All members of the family are non smokers.
We have a Beagle born Dec 17, who adds fun, love, plus a bit of dog hair, into our daily routine.
I hold a full drivers license and have never incurred any points or fines. I am fully insured , both personally and in my home and car. My equipment includes stair gates, cots, highchairs, single and double buggies, car seats, reins, potties, bibs, small cutlery and plates
My Experience
I qualified for my NNEB at Chiltern Nursery Training College, and worked as a nanny between Jan 1989 and September 1993. I have been a childminder since October 1993, during which time I have looked after almost 70 children, many from the age of 12 weeks onwards, and many I am still in touch with now. I can provide references for any prospective clients.

I work both term time and school holidays.
My core hours are:
Mondays 8am- 4.30pm
Tuesdays 8am - 4.30pm
Wednesdays 8am - 4.30pm
Thursdays 8am - 4.30pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour

I except most childcare vouchers and government funding.
My hourly rate includes snacks and drinks, all art and craft expenses, visits to Toddler Groups and local outings such a parks, libraries, picnics, and fuel costs for preschool and school runs etc. It does NOT include baby formula, or baby food (powders or jars), or nappies, and I now request that parents supply their child's meals.
