About Me
My name is Emily. I am currently studying to be a paediatric nurse and am in my 2nd year of training. I am also a part time carer for invidividuals with dementia. I have always had a passion for looking after children. Previously I have worked in retail also. Since my nurse training and being a carer my communication with all ages has improved. I am a bubbly, compassionate, friendly and caring person.
My Experience
I have babysat for families in the past. I have a young godson who I have looked after since he was a newborn. I have also had work experience whilst I was in college, working within schools and hospitals. My latest work experience is with my university course. I have done 6 months in three different places for my first year. 2 within a hospital and one within a special needs school. My 2nd year has consisted of a children’s ward where we see children of all ages. I have also previously done work experience in another special needs school.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GSCE’s from school. I took health and social care in college and came out with a extended diploma (D*DD) and I am currently taking a degree in peadiatric nursing.
My Availability
I am a student and a carer so my shift days and times aren’t set. I have my own car so am able to get around. For more information, it is best to ask me!
