About Us
We are small friendly preschool offering Early Years Education following the Statutory Framework. We focus on creating a happy, family environment where all children will thrive.
We have recently formed a CIO, Abington Annexe Community Childcare, offering Early Years Education, an After School Club and Holiday Sports Club offering all round care to children from aged 2 to 12 years. We maintain very close links with the local primary school as we are based within their grounds. This allows for a smooth transition between the Early Years and After School settings. Wrap Around and our Holiday Club are available for 3 to 12 year olds.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £49.50 per day
The preschool fees are based on sessional rates for morning, lunch and afternoon sessions which can be accessed as full or part days. There is a Voluntary Consumables charge towards costs. Fees for 2 year old's are slightly higher due to staffing ratios.

We’ve been using the Abington Annexe setting since 2013 for both of our children, and it has been consistently excellent. The staff are great, always kind and caring. They keep the children happy, engaged, and excited to go back. Kids can play outside or stay indoors with a lot of games like the football table. My little one just learned a bit of piano there, just playing it with his friends... Very nice food too.

I cannot recommend this setting highly enough. The staff are truly kind, caring, and considerate, always going above and beyond to ensure that every child feels valued and supported. What stands out most is the individual attention they give—each child is treated as a unique person, with their needs and interests carefully nurtured.
The setting itself is safe and secure, located within the village school grounds, which gives parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a familiar and protected environment. The club is seamlessly integrated into the local community, fostering a real sense of belonging and connection. Children not only enjoy fun and engaging activities, but they also build friendships and confidence in a space that feels welcoming and inclusive.
The same goes for the holiday club, which runs throughout the school holidays. With endless possibilities of activities, children are kept entertained and inspired every day. From daily swimming, magicians, giant inflatable days and BMX skill sessions just to name a few, the holiday club offers a vibrant mix of fun, adventure, and creativity.
It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about the wellbeing and happiness of the children. Their dedication creates a positive atmosphere where kids thrive, and parents can feel reassured. This club is a wonderful asset to the community, and I’m grateful for the exceptional care they provide.

Abington Annexe is a wonderful community childcare setting. My son attends the after-school club and absolutely loves it. The staff are kind, caring, and really know the children well. The environment feels welcoming and safe, and it’s clear how much effort goes into creating a nurturing atmosphere for all ages. We’re really lucky to have this setting in the village.
