Hello! My name is Kat, and I’m a caring, responsible, and fun-loving person with a genuine passion for working with children. I have over 19 years of experience in HR, but I decided to follow my heart and shift my career to childcare, which I truly enjoy. I’m a mum myself to two wonderful children a grown-up son and a 11 year old daughter and independent son who is 22 years old so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and creating a warm, supportive environment for kids to grow and thrive.
I love engaging children through creative play, outdoor activities, reading, and helping with homework or daily routines. I’m reliable, organised, and always bring a positive attitude. I also have experience with children of different ages and needs, and I’m confident managing busy schedules, school runs, and bedtime routines.
In addition to being nurturing, I’m happy to help around the house and I get along well with pets too. I’m DBS checked and happy to provide references upon request.

Experienced & Reliable Childcare Help ??
I’ve been helping local families with childcare for several years, including regular school pick-ups and looking after two teenage girls. This has given me valuable experience supporting older children with their daily routines, building trusting relationships, and being a reliable helping hand for busy parents.
I’ve also provided one-off evening and night childcare for families over the years, so I’m happy to help with occasional childcare, evenings, nights, school pick-ups or when you simply need an extra pair of hands.

I am available throughout the day from Monday to Friday, and I’m also happy to help in the evenings or on some weekends if needed

I recommend Teresa as a nanny/childminder.She looked after my child for a period of one year and it was a pleasure to have her.She always came to our home on time and ready to engage with my daughter.She is very skilled in supervising and caring for children. Planning and preparing food for children and keeping the house tidy.She is reliable, trustworthy, motivated and is in tune with the requirements of family and children.I highly recommend her for nanny /childminder
