About Me
We are a family of five - I am a doctor at the Children's hospital and my husband works for a small film business in Hathersage. Theo is 6 and in Y1 at Hallam Primary, Heidi is 4 and started school in September. Josh is 2 and he currently goes to nursery 4 days per week. We are an outdoor family and keen for the kids to be out and about and active too. Theo and Heidi like to cycle/walk to school. Healthy eating is important to us as a family and in the summer we grow a lot of our own vegetables. The kids are all happy riding bikes, doing arts and crafts, cooking, playing in the garden and are generally very fun. We live on the edge of Sheffield with lots of green space and Spider Park is on our doorstep.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny for 2-3 days per week 0800-1730/1800ish. This would ideally be 2 days plus some flexibility on a Wednesday morning to help after on calls (this is not essential as nursery may be able to help. We can be a bit flexible re days but Mon and Thursdays are the most critical days. There would be an opportunity for more hours in the evenings (babysitting) and at weekends on a flexible basis. The contract would run year round to include the school holidays. Reliability is extremely important as this impacts upon children's care at the hospital.
Childcare would include the school run, looking after Josh in the daytime, after school activities, preparing all the children's meals and keeping the house habitable. We are looking for someone to support, maintain behavioural norms and have fun with our kids while we are at work. Our current childcare arrangement has no flex which is proving challenging with full time working patterns.
