About Me
We are a family of five - I am a doctor at the Children's Hospital and my husband works from home. We have 3 children at Hallam Primary school aged 5-9 years. We are primarily looking for school wrap around help to get them all home from school or to/from after school clubs/activities. This would involve driving to activities but also possibly to help with some cleaning, cooking, babysitting etc.
Our 7 year old does gymnastics 3 x per week after school on Little London Road, and the other two go swimming and climbing. We live on the edge of Sheffield in S10 with lots of green space, 3 chickens, and Spider Park is on our doorstep.
My Requirements
Mondays after school:
We are looking for help after school 15:15 until 6pm, to collect children from school, drive to gymnastics and take care of the other two children until after tea time. Alternatively, just to pick up our 7 year old up after school and drop her to gymnastics (collect 15:15, drop off 16:10).
Additional optional extra hours:
Help after school for additional activities on a Wednesday and Friday to drop/collect to/from gymnastics.
Fridays, to take 9 year old climbing 6-8pm
Tuesdays to collect children from school and take to swimming at 17:30 when I am on call.
Babysitting/cleaning:
There would be an opportunity for more hours if you were willing to take on cleaning, cooking or in the evenings (babysitting) and at weekends on a flexible basis.
Duties may include school collection, after school activities, driving to gymnastics, preparing some children's meals and keeping the house habitable! Reliability is extremely important as this impacts upon work at the hospital. My husband occasionally works away and in the past we have asked nannies to stay with us overnight when I am on call or to help with pre-school hours and school drop offs.
The kids enjoy outdoor activities, crafts and playing in the garden. We have a trampoline in the garden and 3 chickens.
