About Me
As a qualified primary teacher, I have over four years experience working in leading independent schools. I am also a private tutor for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children. I promote a love of learning through a nurturing and inspiring environment and endeavour to build relationships to understand the needs of each child. This ensures the children within my care flourish into confident and independent individuals. I also have a wealth of experience working with children with SEN. I love to explore different ways of learning to encourage curiosity - whether that be a spelling hunt in the garden or having a magic reading den!
After leaving my teaching role, I am looking to share my love of learning within a Nanny role to help support and care within a family.
My Experience
Throughout my years at University, I regularly babysat for families where I took sole care of the children. I was responsible for cooking balanced meals, child related cleaning and bedtime routines. In addition to this, I was a camp manager for Atlas Camps (an Ofsted registered holiday camp) where I was responsible for the care and safeguarding of up to 30 children.
I have been a class teacher for four years in leading independent schools across EYFS and KS1 classes.
I am First Aid Paediatric trained.
