About Me
I am a 45 year-old Birmingham-born mother of three, who has 13 years experience as a live in/live out nanny - from the age of 18 years until my first child was born at 31. These positions were in the US, Canada and UK. I gave this career up to start my own family. Throughout my life I have travelled extensively and lived in America, Canada, Singapore and Australia, and finally settled back in the UK 6 years ago.
My youngest child is now starting fulltime school and I am keen to get back into a nanny position.
During my nannying employment I have looked after a wide range of children from 4 month old children to teenagers, and a child who suffered from Autism, and one who received a heart transplant at birth. With the latter I was responsible for administering all of his medication and continuous medical checks every three hours.
Many of the families I worked for have remained firm friends. One family even travelling from the US to attend my wedding in 2016.
I volunteer as a Reading Aassistant at my children's primary school, three hours per week.
Outside of being a fulltime mother, I am a keen amateur photographer and i am a joint admin for a local history photography page.

Since January 2019 I have volunteered three hours per week as a Reading Assistant at my children's primary school. This entails reading one-to-one with each year Four student (30 students of varying reading capabilities) The school has requested that I extend these hours to six hours per week, covering 60 students from mid-September.
I will step down from this voluntary position to secure a permanent nannying position.
From September 2019 I have been a nanny for a family whose child attend the same school as my youngest child, picking up and dropping of their daughter off at school to suit the faimily's requirements.
