About Me
**STILL LOOKING** (I've been hired for 2 full days per week looking after an 8 month old and am looking for additional work for the other 3 days each week - exact days are flexible). About me: 29 year old Mother's Help / daytime babysitter (live out, based in Angel, Islington) seeking to assist a family with looking after babies, children and pets (dog walking!), as well as helping with cleaning and cooking. I'm currently on a career break from working in fast paced Silicon Valley start ups, before I start my own family (expecting my first baby in late May). Looking for a part time position from now till May as an Au Pair / Mother's help / daytime babysitter (live out) to assist with watching over children, taking to/from school, cooking, cleaning, dog walking. I love children and babies, animals, cooking and don't mind cleaning at all (find it therapeutic!).
My Experience
1 year total experience working as a Mother's help and Nanny when aged 18-19, family with 4 month old, 2 year old and twin 5 year olds (a handful but great fun!) with strong references. I'm also a very confident (and healthy) cook, don't mind cleaning (and have close attention to detail with this, I struggle to employ cleaners myself as find they rarely do a thorough job!) and have had dogs of my own for 15 years (so confident helping with pets too!).
My Qualifications
No accedemic qualifications that relate to childcare (only a 1st from UCL in Project Management but I suppose that's not relevant!). Confident looking after babies and young children. Will have CRB check and First Aid complete with certificates by 10th Jan.
My Availability
9am-6pm 3 days per week (exact days are flexible)
