Welcome to Laura’s Little Owls

Hello, I’m Laura, a friendly and caring childminder providing a warm, nurturing and home-from-home environment where children can feel safe, happy and confident to learn through play.

At Laura’s Little Owls, I believe that every child is unique. I follow a play-based approach to learning, supporting children’s individual interests, development and next steps in line with the EYFS framework.

My setting offers a wide variety of fun and engaging experiences, including:

~ Outdoor play and nature-based learning
~ Arts, crafts and sensory activities
~ Stories, songs and early literacy activities
~ Child-led play and educational experiences
~ Cooking, gardening and learning about healthy lifestyles
~ Local walks, park visits and community outings
~ Opportunities to explore and learn new skills, including BSL

I aim to create a welcoming environment where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, develop friendships and grow in confidence while having lots of fun along the way.
