Top tier childminder!

My son, Finn, has been going to Marion since he was 1 year old (now 14 months).The first time we visited Marion, we could tell she had a great rapport with the children and knew Finn would be in safe hands. She scheduled settling in days which was a great thing to do so Finn could get used to his new environment. He goes to Marion's two days a week, 8am-5.30pm and Marion always makes sure he has good activities to partake in both days, he goes to toddlers and playgroup, he has trips to the swing park, plays in the garden and he has even been to the transport museum. Finn really enjoys his time and always comes home tired and ready for bed! Marion fills out a diary every day to let us know what he enjoyed, what he ate, naps etc which is great for communication and we can write things in too if there is anything Marion should need to know for the day (the drop offs can be quite rushed when you're heading off to work!!). Marion is great for suggesting different things for Finn that we may not have thought about, she really does have brilliant knowledge and experience. Finn has settled in well and he loves spending time with Marion and John and socialising with the other children at Marion's. I wouldn't have any doubts recommending Marion to any other families.

Fantastic Childminder

We first used Marion in 2019 for our oldest son Connor and then again for our youngest son Aidan in 2021. Aidan had the most wonderful two years and has become such a confident happy boy which Marion has helped with. Aidan rarely came home empty handed from Marion's as he may have done some art, crafts or baking. He loved going to playgroup and had a fantastic relationship with John, Marion's husband. I have always and will always continue to highly recommend Marion. As a family we were sad to say goodbye to Marion as Aidan started nursery.

Amazing Childminder

Marion has been our childminder for nearly 2 years now, and we cannot praise her highly enough. Our little girl (Isla, 2 and a half) loves both Marion and her husband John. They do a great range of activities – she’s always coming home with painting, crafts or baking, as well as getting out to soft play, feeding the ducks, the park etc. Marion takes them to playgroups a couple of times each week which Isla loves. I feel Isla gets a good balance of activities and socialisation but also ‘down’ time in a home environment. Marion’s home is perfectly set up for childminding, with a lovely safe garden and a great living room space with lots of toys. Marion was really patient when Isla took a while to settle (I went back to work when she was just 9 months) and it didn’t take too long before Isla was really happy there.
I feel very little ‘Mum guilt’ going off to work these days, as I know that Isla is somewhere she is well looked after, and with someone who really cares about her. Marion genuinely seems to love looking after kids, and John too has built a great relationship with Isla. It’s amazing to have this sort of peace of mind, and we intend to keep Isla with Marion for the foreseeable future.
Marion is incredibly reliable (don’t want to jinx it but in 2 years, she’s not taken a day off sick!) and she has been willing to be quite flexible around our working patterns – we have altered our hours with her a couple of times to accommodate changing job situations etc. Communication is good – when Isla was younger Marion kept a diary so we knew what she had done each day/when she’d had a nap etc (these days Isla tells us!). She was really helpful in picking up cues that Isla was ready for potty training and communicating this to us.

Essentially I can’t recommend Marion highly enough for her brilliant home environment, range of developmentally appropriate activities, reliability and the relationship she builds with the kids.

Great childminder, would highly recommend

Marion currently looks after my 1 year old daughter and I can confidently say she is well looked after. Marion is great and very well experienced. Her home is a safe and welcoming environment, she also takes the children to play groups and does lots of fun activities! Marion writes in a communication book everyday telling me what my daughter has ate, when she has napped and what she has done throughout the day which I find very useful. Would highly recommend!

The best in the business

We first used Marion in 2019 for our oldest son Connor and when we needed a childminder for our youngest Aidan there was no one else we would consider. Aidan has now been going to Marion for 9 months and he loves it just as much as Connor did. They both love John too. We recommended Marion so much our nephew Archie also goes. Aidan always comes home happy from Marion's and loves to show off any pictures or cakes he has made that day. He loves going to playgroup and I can certainly see the increase in confidence he gets week in and week out at Marion's. I have always and will always continue to highly recommend Marion.

Great childminder!

Marion is currently looking after my son 2 days a week from 8-6. He absolutely loves going and loves both Marion and John!! Marion has been great from the beginning with settling in and reassuring me! She also does a lot of activities with the kids and takes them to toddlers groups which Archie absolutely loves! Love him coming home with the pictures or crafts they have all made that day. Highly recommended and can relax at work knowing Archie is so well looked after!

Thank you Marion

Marion has been looking after our daughter Aila Rose since she was 13 months, two days a week. Leaving your first child with someone you don’t know was daunting, but Marion made us feel so at ease by keeping us updated on how she was getting on each day. Her days with Marion are varied and they go to groups, walks and enjoy play time at home, in Marion’s very child friendly home.
Aila Rose goes in to Marion very happy in the morning, waving goodbye to us and comes away happy at the end of the day.
Marion and her husband John make Aila Rose very much at home in the time she is in their care. I would not hesitate recommending Marion to any parents to send their child to her. Aila Rose has grown in confidence and enjoys hanging out with her friends at Marion’s home.

Kind and experienced childminder - excellent care.

Marion looks after our 14 month girl Isla old 4 days/week, and I cannot rate her highly enough. Isla was 9 months old when she started with Marion, and despite a tricky start with significant separation anxiety, she soon settled and is now really happy with Marion and her husband John. Their house is a great environment for children, with a variety of toys, a great garden. She goes to playgroup a couple of times a week, lots of trips to park etc. but also has a decent amount of 'down' time just to be at home, and play with toys - this was important to us as we work long hours and we want her to have a sense of a normal home environment. Marion uses a communication book which is really helpful to know what times Isla has had a sleep, and any issues. Isla usually comes home well fed, happy and tired! Would definitely recommend her childminding service. :)

Excellent babysitter

I can't recommend Marion highly enough. From our first correspondence she was extremely prompt at replying, and remained communicative throughout. Marion arrived very promptly, and was extremely thorough and professional, and made us feel very much at ease to be heading out for the evening.

Fantastic childminder

Marion is a lovely person and fantastic childminder. My girls settled in right away and I have watched them grow and develop as a result of the care provided.
