My Experience

Experience:

Currently working in a SEN school that tailors its support to the individual child. It’s a beautiful school, and has helped me gain new skills improving my childcare.

I have cared for children from 9 months to 13 years, with experience covering daytime, evening, and overnight shifts.

Mother’s Helper Role (Summer): Supported a family with four children (two 9-month-old twins, a 2-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old girl). My focus was on keeping the older children entertained and engaged with creative activities, giving the mother quality time to care for the twins.

Evening Babysitting: Looked after three siblings (ages 3, 5, and 10), preparing snacks, organising games and story time, and ensuring a calm bedtime routine.

School Holiday Care: Provided full-day childcare for a 9-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, including preparing meals, leading crafts and games, reading, and taking them on outings to the park.
