My Requirements

We are a friendly family looking for a reliable, experienced nanny/housekeeper to support our household and care for our two children (aged 8 and 6).
The role
Childcare responsibilities:
* Daily school pick-ups at 15:20
* Occasional early morning starts (from 6:50am) to help with school drop-offs
* Driving the children to extracurricular activities, including swimming lessons in Nuneaton and Bedworth
* Preparing and cooking children’s dinners
* Light homework support (daily reading, spelling practice, times tables)
Housekeeping responsibilities (during school hours):
* General house cleaning
* Laundry and ironing
* Keeping the home tidy and well organised
Working pattern:
* 20 hours per week
* Flexible schedule required, with occasional early starts and late finishes (up to around 21:30), linked to hospital shift patterns
Essential requirements:
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Proven experience caring for young children
* Full UK driving licence and confidence driving children
* Reliable, organised, and comfortable combining childcare and housekeeping
* Warm, calm, and supportive approach with children
Pay options:
* PAYE employment at National Living Wage (£11.44 per hour), equivalent to approximately £11,900 gross per year for 20 hours per week?or
* Self-employed arrangement at £16 per hour, approximately £15,360 per year, depending on actual hours worked.
