About Me

Advanced Level 4 Maternity Nanny Exclusive Daytime Postnatal Care

I am an accomplished, nurturing professional nanny of 14 years with extensive experience in private households, currently undertaking the Advanced Babyem OCN Level 4 Maternity Nurse Training.

I specialise in providing premium, nurturing daytime postnatal care and maternity support for families welcoming a newborn.

Bringing a new baby home is a beautiful but overwhelming transition. My goal is to step into your home during the day to provide hands-on, expert guidance so you can rest, recover, and enjoy those precious early weeks.

Many families find that nights are manageable, but the isolated daytime hours can be a real struggle, particularly for:

• Parents whose partners are returning to work
• Single parents navigating the early weeks solo
• Families with no close network or family support nearby

My goal is to step into your home during the day to give you a complete breather.

How I support you during the day:

Maternal Recovery:
Caring for your baby so you can catch up on essential sleep, shower, rest, or simply have some time to yourself. Postnatal emotional support and light logistical help to keep your home running smoothly.

Feeding & Foundations:
Practical support & gentle guidance with establishing comfortable breast feeding positions, responsive feeding, safe formula preparation, bottle-feeding pacing, and establishing healthy daytime nap windows.

Infant Comfort:
Gentle guidance on newborn sleep hygiene, settling techniques,
and troubleshooting common early hurdles like wind, colic, and reflux.

Because I bring a unique blend of years of trusted professional private nanny experience and Advanced Level 4 Newborn Training, you get the perfect blend of the highest standard of safety and specialist knowledge and practical family support, without the pressure of a 24-hour live-in nurse.

I am strictly available for daytime bookings, Monday - Friday, from the New Year 2027. As I'm currently permanently employed looking after two infants, I will need to give 4 weeks notice for new bookings.

I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS, and have Paediatric First Aid Training.

Please feel free to get in touch to discuss how I can support your family during your fourth trimester!

My Experience

I am an experienced infant specialist who has guided multiple families through the vital early months of childcare.

I am currently undertaking my advanced Babyem OCN Level 4 Maternity Nurse Training and am seeking a new DAY Maternity Nurse / Specialist Day Nanny role to commence in 2027.

Current Specialised Newborn Experience:
• Private Newborn Specialist Care (Infant aged 12 days to 3 months):

Currently providing dedicated, sole-charge Saturday morning care for a newborn, starting from just 12 days old. This ongoing role focuses on establishing comfortable daytime routines, managing wind and comfort, and supporting the mother during the early postpartum weeks.

Long-Term Infant & Toddler Care History:

• Professional Nanny
(Infant aged 3 months to 23 months):
Providing ongoing care 2 days a week. Successfully navigated the family through the 4-month sleep regression, milk transitions, weaning, and early physical milestones.

• Professional Nanny
(Infant aged 6months to 11 months):
Providing ongoing care 2 days a week, focusing on age-appropriate daytime routine maintenance, active play, and developmental tracking.

My Core Newborn & Infant Expertise Includes:

• Routine & Sleep Hygiene: Implementing gentle, responsive daytime settling techniques and establishing age-appropriate nap structures.

• Infant Feeding Management:
Practical support and gentle guidance with comfortable breastfeeding positioning, bottle-feeding pacing, and strict sterilisation controls.

• Infant Comfort & Health:
Recognising and managing early physical challenges including wind, colic, and reflux symptoms.

• Meticulous Log Keeping:
Maintaining detailed daily tracking logs of infant sleep intervals, feeding volumes, and daily output for parental peace of mind.

Early Speech & Sound Development:
Using my 24-year background as an English teacher, I actively support early communication through constant, gentle talking and reading. By singing nursery rhymes and interacting with your baby throughout the day, I help build their early listening skills and vocabulary from the very start.
