Hi, I’m Tanya,
If you are looking for a trustworthy and caring babysitter, please contact me. I would be honoured to help with caring for your little one/s by either baby sitting, providing ad hoc day care, school runs and covering other short notice requirements.
I have several years of experience caring for children of all ages. I love to spend time with children, I have a huge family and am often helping out babysitting my 2 nephews and 2 God son’s.
I’m reliable, patient, creative, and fun-loving. I enjoy entertaining the little ones, chatting, singing, playing games and reading stories.
I also enjoy baking cupcakes for celebrations and I am an animal lover with 2 adorable cats (so you don’t have to worry if you have pets at home!).

Recent experience includes care of:
- Sibling group: Sisters aged 5 and 8
- Care of a baby boy from age of 6 months old to 18 months old
- Sibling group: Brother and Sister aged 8 and 6
- Sibling group: 3 children under 10

My Qualifications
I have previously taken and passed at least 2 first aid qualifications.
My Availability
Availability update (I’m currently pregnant, due date mid October!):

• Jan 2027: Available for ad hoc/emergency help requests
• Feb – mid Mar 2027: Unavailable

I usually help with occasional or emergency childcare around my other commitments and travel, so do ask as if I’m free I’ll always try to help!
I support parents during the week, evenings, and weekends, because I know how hard it is without a local support network or people you trust for a break.
I have a few families I help regularly through this site, so if you have any questions, please reach out — I’d love to help look after your little ones.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
Feel free to reach out with any questions / discuss particular requirements. I can come to your home to look after your child/ren or they are welcome to come to my home.

Tanya has babysat our children three time now and our youngest has decided that she is one of our family, to quote 'you are in my family now, I love you'.
Tanya is punctual, sensible, able to enforce household boundaries and at the same time be fun, playful and friendly.
Our children is very excited when they now the 'babysitter' is coming.

I booked Tanya to look babysit my little girl. I was quite nervous as never had a babysitter for my daughter before. Tanya was fantastic throughout and made me feel completely at ease. Tanya was happy to meet me before the job and always responded to my (probably excessive) communication promptly. On the night, she arrived on time and managed to settle my daughter when she woke up. Tanya is extremely professional and has such a gentle and kind manner. I will definitely be using Tanya again in the future and will be recommending her to family and friends.
