Part Time Nanny Job In Sonning On Thames
About Me
Mum of a 15 month old at home and 3 1/2 year old at full time nursery. I work from home.
My Requirements
Please read all the info before contacting me as covers lots of things you may be asking.
Hi we are looking for a mothers help/nanny/ cooking and cleaning/ house keeper/ running errands basically another me! To help run our hectic house. We have a wonderful lady that helps on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday but need someone to do full days Monday and Tuesday ideally 7:30 or 8am till until 6pm or 6:30pm may be some flexibility to ending earlier for the right person.
We are looking for someone to start ASAP from 20th Feb, but will wait for the right person.
We live in Sonning and are a couple with a 15 month old and nearly 4 year old. I’m running my business from home and no way I can cope, so need someone to be the operator of the house and kids while I work. Any mum that has successfully run a home and kids know what the job is.
The 4 year old is in full time nursery and the 1 year old is at home.
It’s a very changeable role from day to day. Sometimes it will be full childcare, drop off and pick up of 4 year old and looking after the 1 year old at home (where my husdand and I work).
sometime I go out all day with the 1 year old when work isn’t busy and you will be at the house doing cleaning, cooking, running errands - some days even helping me with my business. Basically I never want to be cooking or cleaning while I pay someone else to look after my little girl - I know that sounds a bit rubbish but I want to do the fun bits when I can, hence you have to be flexible to muck in with everything else.
We are also just about to start a big house renovation so you may find yourself at screw fix picking things up or helping me choose tiles.
As I said we only need you for Monday and Tuesday but I have lots of friends looking for people to do similar roles so could be open to intro you so you would basically be full time but with 2 families.
Ideally very local to make life easier on both of us. We are in sonning village.
We are looking to pay cash in hand.
The things you must have or be happy to do for this role:
Have a driving licence and ideally a car (you can use our cars during the day) but to get to us as no easy public transport options.
Be able to batch cook healthy meals for kids. I can’t cook at all so no need to be a really good cook just things like fish pie, lasagna, mild curry.
A kind caring person as will be helping take care of our babies and be part of our family.
Happy to do cooking, cleaning, washing, sorting house out and run errands.
Ideally organised as I’m not.
Be able to work Monday and Tuesdays through out the year and school holidays.
Be able to start at 7:30am ideally or 8am
We are a loving, fun but a bit mad family, need someone that can muck in with everything with a smile and sort out the trail of destruction we currently create!
Thanks Sally
